Reviewer Guidelines
Peer review is the cornerstone of academic publishing. The Journal of Modern Materials Science (JMMS) relies on dedicated experts to maintain high standards of scientific rigor, clarity, and novelty in all published articles.
Peer Review Process
JMMS adheres to a double-blind peer-review model. The identities of both reviewers and authors remain confidential throughout the entire review process.
Evaluation Criteria
- Originality & Significance: Does the manuscript present novel findings, methodologies, or insightful perspectives in materials science?
- Scientific Rigor & Methodology: Are experimental methods, materials characterization techniques, or computational models described with sufficient detail and accuracy?
- Data & Interpretation: Do the experimental and theoretical results soundly support the conclusions drawn?
- Clarity & Structure: Is the manuscript logically organized, clearly written in English, and supported by high-quality figures and tables?
Confidentiality & Ethics
Manuscripts sent for review must be treated as strictly confidential documents. Reviewers must declare any potential conflict of interest prior to accepting a review invitation and must not use unpublished research findings in their own work.
Recommendations
Upon completing the evaluation, reviewers provide constructive comments for authors along with one of the following recommendations: Accept as is, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.
